The Vortex Summit Car Window Mount works with an quick release plate and therefore your optics is easy mounted to the car window mount. The quick release plate is connected with your optics by the ¼” thread, then the plate is easy connected with a lever to the Car Window Mount. The quick release plate can also be used for the Vortex Summit SS-P tripod, so when you leave the car and go into nature your optics can easy be mounted on a tripod. For connecting binoculars an tripod adapter is needed, you can find these at the optional accessories.
