PE-505 on fono võimendi eelvõimendi, millel on kaks monoraalset ja täielikult tasakaalustatud sisend/väljundahelat, mis toetavad tasakaalustatud MC-sisendit. Varustatud võrdsustusvalikutega kahele suurimale plaadifirmale: Decca ja Columbia.
Täielikult tasakaalustatud ahelakujundus
PE-505 kasutab täielikult tasakaalustatud ahelakujundust kõigis etappides, alates peavõimendist kuni võrdsustuseni ja puhvervõimendini, et võimendada, võrdsustada ja puhastada isegi äärmiselt nõrku helisignaale. Isegi tasakaalustamata signaalid tavalisest RCA-sisendist muundatakse diferentsiaalse töötlusrežiimi otse pärast sisendterminali.
Võrdsustamine diferentsiaalse võimendi väljundis
Diferentsiaalväljundi võrdsustusahel neelab tasakaalustatud väljundi vigu ja edastab täpsema helisignaali. Võrdsustaja taasesitab signaale puhtalt ja loomulikult.
Kõrge täpsusega RIAA ahel
LF-tüüpi võrdsustusvõimendi saavutab RIAA kõrvalekalde vähem kui ±0,05 dB. (20 Hz kuni 20 kHz)
Kõrge signaali-müra suhe
PE-505 saavutab 106 dB RCA-sisendil (MM) ja 86 dB XLR-sisendil (MC), samas kui jääknihkepinge saavutab nõudlikud 10 µV MM-i ja 85 µV MC (XLR-sisend).
Kõrge täpsusega OLD EQ kõverad
Lisaks kaasaegsele RIAA kõverale toetatakse ka DECCA ja COLUMBIA monoraalsete plaatide kohandatud kõveraid.
Mitmekülgne seadistus ja ainulaadsed mõõtefunktsioonid
PE-505-l on lülitatav koormustakistus MM-kassettidele ja lülitatav koormustakistus MC-kassettidele. Lisaks võimaldab koormustakistuse mõõtmine kasutajal valida sobiva koormustakistuse, vajutades esipaneelil MEASURE nuppu, et kuvada koormustakistuse koguväärtus, sealhulgas kaablitakistus. Alaheliefekt kuvab alahelisignaale alla 6 Hz mõõdikul, samas kui alahelifilter (17 Hz, -24 dB/okt) lõikab kuulamispiirkonnast välja ebavajalikud madalsagedused.
DEMAG funktsioon helipeade värskendamiseks
Kiire demagnetiseerimisfunktsiooniga demagnetiseeritakse MC-kassettide magnetiseeritud rauasüdamikud ja sammukõrgendustrafo, mängides DEMAG asendis plaati vaid 30 sekundit.
