High-performance 8-core 10GbE NAS for hybrid infrastructure storage and high-speed virtualisation applications. The high-performance TS-855X has six 3.5-inch SATA drive bays (for HDDs), two 2.5-inch SATA drive bays (for SSDs) and an 8-core processor supporting Intel QuickAssist Technology (QAT), significantly helping businesses deploy storage and data virtualisation environments. Built-in high-speed 10GbE/2.5GbE connectivity helps realise fast data access, backup/restore, file server and virtualisation applications. The TS-855X, which comes standard with the QTS operating system, can be switched to use the ZFS-based QuTS hero operating system depending on user requirements. The TS-855X is equipped with two M.2 PCIe Gen 3 slots to accommodate M.2 2280 NVMe SSDs (including SSD brands Micron, Seagate and WD) or Edge TPUs (sold separately) to enhance NAS performance.
Direct 2.5GbE connectivity to up to ten computers/workstations
If your team needs a high-speed environment and performance boost, the TS-855X with two 2.5GbE ports may be the solution. With the installation of two 4-port PCIe network adapters (QXG-2G4T-I225), the TS-855X can directly connect to up to ten computers/workstations without the required switches for faster transfer of large files/backup, video editing, etc.
