The SC 5 EasyFix Iron not only cuts a fine figure visually, it also impresses with its powerful cleaning power: Outstanding 4.2 bar steam pressure makes it a particularly powerful steam cleaner. The steam can be adjusted as required using the 4-stage steam control. Thorough cleaning with the Kärcher steam cleaner eliminates up to 99.999 % of viruses1 and 99.99 % of all common household bacteria2 on common household hard surfaces. And thanks to the many accessory options, smooth surfaces, extractor hoods, corners and crevices are perfectly clean. The included steam pressure iron is also particularly practical, making ironing 50 percent faster. The VapoHydro function also allows hot water to be switched on, making it even easier to loosen and rinse away stubborn dirt. The flexible EasyFix floor nozzle boasts effective lamella technology. The floor cloth can be conveniently attached to the floor nozzle using the Velcro system without coming into contact with dirt. The water tank is removable and permanently refillable. Additional features: integrated cable compartment, storage compartment for accessories, parking position for the floor nozzle.
1 When spot cleaning with the Kärcher steam cleaner, i.e. a steaming time of 30 seconds at maximum steam level with direct contact with the surface to be cleaned, 99.999 % of enveloped viruses, such as influenza viruses (with the exception of the hepatitis B virus), can be removed from standard household, smooth hard surfaces (test germ: modified vaccinia virus Ankara).
2 When cleaning at a cleaning speed of 30 cm/s at maximum steam level and in direct contact with the surface to be cleaned, 99.99 % of all common household bacteria on common household, smooth hard surfaces are killed (test germ: Enterococcus hirae).
